you go to train your pets before going to this trainer. I did not appreciate how rude she was, typically letting people finish speaking before inturpting is a great place to start fyi, and her knowledge is questionable at best.
Terrible customer service. I went there yesterday to buy a collar and ID tag for my kitten. I wanted to use one of my 5 dollar off rewards I had received from the hundreds of dollars I had spent at their store. I was told after them wasting 30 minutes of my time trying to get the coupon to work that it wasn’t working and that there was no way for them to override the coupon to take the 5 dollars off because the next time I’d come in there would be a chance that it would take another 5 dollars off. I work retail and that is completely ridiculous. It is their company’s fault the coupon would not work. The manager could have overridden the coupon and just had possibly taken the 5 dollar hit down the road but chose not to. They don’t care about their customers happiness. I live out in Wadsworth but I refuse to go there anymore and will now be going elsewhere to shop for my kitten.
I find it rediculous when my son went to purchase a training collar for his dog when a associate made him feel guilty about buying it for his dog. The associate told my son that it was cruel. I work close with my trainer for my dog and the collar is far from cruel if used properly! I think your associates should keep their opinions to themselves especially if they don't agree with something that DOES NOT PERTAIN TO THEM OR THEIR OWN ANIMAL. I suggest you have a meeting with your associates because not only did you lose out on a sale you lost a few loyal customers that will take their business elsewhere!

Prices aren't bad, people are usually very helpful but in the way of dog training it is super lacking. was in the store and there was a giant sized puppy (3 months older then my puppy of the same exact breed)that was just super excited and going a bit crazy. I mentioned puppy classes and a specific collar

Didn’t have a great experience with the dog training. Bought the puppy 1 class and continuously tried to get into a class with no call back. Finally went to get a refund and they claimed they couldn’t do it and got a call the next day to schedule. Was constantly talked to like I didn’t know what I was talking about and made to look dumb in front of others in the class. Would not go to petco again for dog training classes. Other than that they have what you need and some workers are friendly and helpful.
Love the staff, always friendly! They know my pupper by name and always greet him !
